Kite Boards differ to Mountain Boards in many ways. Their length, width, and component requirements for complete setups is completely alien to the usual requirements of a Mountain board rider.

Usually speaking Kiteboarders are keen for big airs and fast rotations so a short light poppy deck works best..

Although they are not the strongest, Skate trucks are the lightest available , whilst Velcro / Camlock bindings allow easier "in and out" foot access for "board off" and "1 footed" maneuvers .
