TRAMPA's 9.52mm TITANIUM axle SKATE HANGER BODY is produced from FORGED ALUMINUM. Forging is used whenever Aluminum is required to perform to its maximum strength capability. During the forging process workers insert the TITANIUM Axle into the mould. The TITANIUM Axle is weight for weight stronger & lighter than the steel skate truck alternatives. Fixing the Axle to the hanger in this way gives the strongest possible connection between the 2 metals. The Hanger is BEAD POLISHED to give a smooth surface & POWDER COATED WHITE for best surface protection & is given a co-ordinating BLACK TRAMPA LOGO to Pimp its appearance!
TITANIUM SKATE TRUCKS are MEGA light weight. Saving weight will bring obvious benefits to freestyle Kiteboard riders aiming to go big, BUT Skate Trucks are not the strongest Trucks in the TRAMPA product range & we do not recommended they be used by large sized adult riders seeking huge freestyle moves as over time & especially after some hardcore mis-use, these Hangers can get bent & ultimately become un-usable! Top riders accept that the Skate trucks are not the strongest, and are generally quite happy to purchase replacements from time to time as their price to replace and light weight-ness is un-matched by any other style of steering system. So, if your going on a big riding session or road trip to a far off location, may we suggest you carry a spare one of these to cover emergencies... There is nothing worse than getting all the way to a remote location & then a stupid mistake stops your fun...
The TITANIUM Skate Hanger measures 15.5 Inches in total width. When the wheels are fitted to the Hanger, the board has a center wheel width of 13.5 Inches.
TRAMPA's SKATE TRUCK Baseplate will only fit to TRAMPA Skate Truck Hangers. It is Embossed with the TRAMPA logo & presented in a Powder coated surface finish.
The Baseplate locks the KINGPIN in the housing space & stops it from spinning when tightened, allowing you tighten your Steering as tight as the Rubber can handle before splitting! Remember, over tightening your kingpin will eventually split the Bushing.
A Pivot cup is included with the purchase. For best performance check & if necessary replace your Pivot Cups regularly. Ensure the Bolts holding the Baseplate to the deck are tight before riding. Do not over tighten !
These little things are the STANDARD RUBBER BUSHINGS that are used in the TRAMPA Skate Trucks. When fitted they allow the metal parts to move around without rubbing against each other, supplying the necessary amount of movement that we then control with these rubbers & special dome shaped Washers which when assembled correctly creates us the steering. By changing the rubber hardness of the Skate Truck Bushing will change the characteristics & steering performance of the Deck. Rubber hardness is measured in Shore Durometer resistance, These Skate Bushings are 95a rubber hardness, which gives an ideal range of steering for most beginners to intermediate riders.
If you Screw the 3/8ths if an inch Nut down onto the Kingpin, this will squash the rubber & increase the tightness of the steering resistance. An Oversized Washer encourages the rubber bushing not to split under tension, but due to the harsh environments & tension these rubbers operate within, over time they will perish, possibly split & ultimately needing replacing. Stiffer rubbers can be purchased if you cant get tight enough with these.
This very special Marine Grade Stainless steel Nyloc HALF NUT is custom made specially to fit the TRAMPA products. Half nut means - half as the size of a regular nut, so half the size = half the weight of a normal nut. By using Half nuts on the axles reduces the over all length of the axle & kingpin therefore reducing weight in the Truck also! A few Grams here & a few grams there soon adds up to quite alot & that makes all the difference to the total Truck & consequently deck weight, specially in critical areas of the deck such as the wheels area...
This very special 3/8ths of an inch Marine Grade Stainless steel Nylock Half Nut official factory measurements are W3/8ths - 24T - UNF. This Nut is used to hold the wheels onto the axles of the 9.525mm (3/8ths of Inch or otherwise referred to as 10mm) SKATE TRUCKS & also the Spring Trucks fitted with TITANIUM axles. This Nut is also used to hold the KINGPIN in position on all Skate Trucks. The Nut is fitted as standard with the world renowned NYLOC System. The Nyloc "locks the Nut onto the Bolt" eliminating vibration, keeping your nuts tighter for longer!
Use a 14mm or 9/16ths of an Inch spanner to tighten the Nut onto the Axle or Kingpin, do not overtighten the nut, allow the wheel to spin freely but not rattle & do not crush your bearings. Being Marine Grade Stainless Steel this nut will not rust you! Always ensure all ur nuts are tight before you ride!

This 44mm Spacer is known as the 10mm Skate Truck Bearing Support Spacer as this spacer fits onto the axles of the 10mm Skate truck Axels. This spacer is used when mounting the TRAMPA wheel onto 9.525mm (10mm) or 3/8ths of an inch Skate Truck Axles.
All of the TRAMPA spacers are produced as one long tube, The Tube will be T6 Heat Treated to give the ultimate strength. It is then High Quality Bead polished for best appearance and surface protection & then finally the tube is CNC cut to the exact spacer length for precision mounting.
This Spacer measures 9.525mm (id) x 14mm (od) x 44mm (long) & is specifically designed to fit TRAMPA Wheels onto 10mm Skate Trucks Axels perfectly.
This tiny STEEL Shim Spacer is precision made to give maximum performance! It is used to hold the bearings in the perfect position & also to bridge tiny gaps on the axles, ensuring an accurate fit with NO rattles!
The Shim spacer slips onto the axle fitting either side of the Bearings when the wheel is being fitted onto 9.525mm Axles.
This tiny spacer positions the wheel perfectly on the axle, holding the Bearing in the best possible place to help achieve maximum spin rate for the wheel. Its little parts like these that suffer the most amount of abuse, especially when they are used in the harsh conditions that they are. Always ensure all ur nuts are tight before you ride!
TRAMPA's M5 x 25mm Hexagon Headed Shanked Bolt is made using A4 Marine Grade Stainless Steel. This very special Bolt is specifically made for TRAMPA & is used to connect the TRAMPA Trucks to TRAMPA decks. Using a SHANKED bolt eliminates vibration abrasion ensuring your Truck bolt holes dont wear out & go baggy over time.
Introducing TRAMPA's M5 (5mm Thread) A4 Marine Grade Stainless steel Nylock Nut. This Nylock Nut will fit to all M5 Bolts regardless of their length. This A4 Marine Grade Stainless Steel Nut will never rust on you! It is fitted with the world renowned NYLOCK System (Nylock is a nylon locking system where Nylon is pasted into the threads of the nut so that when the bolt is tightened into the nut the nylon grabs the thread of the bolt holding it locking it in the thread ensuring things do not vibrate loose or fall off when being ridden on rough terrain like that which a Mountain or Kiteboard endures. The NYLOCK thread locking security System is fitted as standard to all TRAMPA Nuts.
This Nut is used to fix to the Regular shaped M5 Bolts that hold the TRUCKS to the DECK for all Decks & also for the Dome Head Bolts connecting the L BRACKETS to the Bindings. Use an 8mm spanner or Ratchet Drive to tighten the Nut onto the Bolt. Always ensure your Nuts & Bolts are tight before you ride!
TRAMPA's own 9.52mm (10mm) or 3/8ths of an inch, TITANIUM Skate Trucks are the lightest skate extended axle skate trucks on the market. Using TITANIUM for the axle reduces weight drastically whilst adding extra strength at the same time! The alloy body of the TRAMPA Hanger & the Embossed Baseplate are high quality Bead polished & laquered to give the best protection against the harsh elements. A TITANIUM KINGPIN comes as standard & connects the Hanger to the Baseplate perfectly. The Titanium kingpin is half the weight of steel & never rusts!
The Pivot cup pushes into the pivot cup housing of the Baseplate & Black 95a Rubber Bushings sit within their housings cushioning the metal parts of the Skate Truck, protecting them from rubbing against each other & allowing the movement in the truck which converts to steering. These little parts get squashed & often suffering harsh environments they incur a lot of abuse & may fail, so in order to maintain max performance from your trucks you to need service/replace these parts over time.
Included with this premium product is a Marine Grade Stainless steel (MGSS) Truck Bolt kit & these bolts will never rust on you! Accompanied by the 44mm axle spacer & 1mm shim washers to position the bearings in the exactly, a 3/8ths of an inch MGST Nylock Axle nut tightens perfectly on holding the wheel in the sweet spot on the axle.
