The Trampa Vertigo baseplate is a work of art. It is a masterpiece of high grade Aluminum which has been primarily produced using an Extrusion technique. This extrusion technique makes the Trampa Base plate exceptionally strong in performance whilst also being very beautiful on the eye.

Once Extruded the Trampa base plate is then sliced into shape and the mounting holes are punched into position. It is then sent away to be polished and for its colour to be added, in this case Bronze Anodise.

The difference between the Infinity and Vertigo base plates is the next procedure as once the colour has been added the Trampa base plate is then returned to the factory for the high precision CNC machine to trim out the excess material and give the lightness and absolute accuracy required for construction. This CNC work also gives extra high performance to the rider as well as the sexy two tone surface finish!

Product Details

The Trampa Vertigo Baseplate is a lighter version of the Trampa Infinity Baseplate.

It is designed for top level riders who demand the highest performance from their equipment. Tried and tested by the Trampa team, the Vertigo Baseplates weigh only 128g each and weight to strength are the lightest and strongest baseplates available.

In order to make our Baseplates extra strong we use an extrusion technique where the highest grade aluminium is used. Extrusion ensures that Trampa Baseplates are consistantly strong, durable and able to cope with the everyday stresses of riding whilst also looking stylish.

Once Extruded the Trampa base plate is then sliced into shape, and the mounting holes are punched into their positions. The Baseplate is then sent away to be "bead" polished and for its anodised colour to be added.

The difference between the Infinity and Vertigo Baseplates is the next procedure where excess weight is removed. Once the colour has been added the Vertigo Baseplate is then returned to the factory for the high precision CNC machine to trim out the excess material. This makes Trampa Vertigo Baseplates exceptionally light and maintains the absolute accuracy required for construction. Despite being so light, Trampa Vertigo Baseplates are as strong, reliable and durable as all our Trampa products and are a firm favourite with our team riders. They feature a dual drill pattern so that they also fit onto MBS and Scrub decks.
